THE OLD LANDFILL 555 Sonoma Ranch Blvd

Go to the end of East Lohman and turn right, following
the road around to the blue bins. This location accepts all recyclables listed above, AND is the only site within the city which takes YARD WASTE from M-F 8am-3:45pm, and SAT 9am-3pm

AMADOR AVENUE RECYCLING CENTER 2865 W. Amador Ave

We accept all the recyclables listed above PLUS: old appliances and scrap metal,household hazardous waste
(household cleaners,pesticides, herbicides, motor oil, cooking oil,antifreeze, rechargeable batteries, vehicle batteries,paints, stains or any item considered ignitable, poisonous or corrosive), florescent light bulbs, E-Scrap (computers and other electronics) and tires(for a fee, depending on size).

The South Central Solid Waste Authority partners with Las Cruces Public Schools to provide drop off sites at local schools, and our list of schools is growing! Look for the bright blue bins in school parking lots, where you can deposit recyclables listed below.
